Well, you can start by not doing what you did again. Also, when you are in cl, listen, take notes and volunteer information (raise you hand, answer questions, ask questions.) Also, you are old enough to stay a minute after cl and say, I think I started off on the wrong foot the first day. Sorry. If you don't want your friends to realize you are going to appologize, take a long time packing up your stuff, be the last one out the door, and forget something at your desk or drop something and tell them you will be right there. Then appologize. This is your best bet.
