I am not superstitious but, my cleaning lady says that my son is affected by an evil eye. I traveled from US?

UAE when my son was 7weeks old, now he is 11weeks. He was an absolutely quiet sweet boy and would cry very little in a low voice. I didnt step out of the house after coming here bec of jetlag for a while, then last week i stepped out with my son to do some shopping. My cleaning lady here said that i shouldnt take the baby out as there are so many people with evil eye. I didnt listen to her and when i came back home, my baby started behaving in a weird way. He seems to be getting scared, cries in such loud volume, and looks at one of the chandeliers in our room and sometimes would keep cooing looking at it, would laugh/smile at it kind of having a conversation with someone and at times would get really scared and start crying uncontrolably. He kicks and screams like anything, he has never been like this before. I am not superstitious but am getting really worried. Did any of u have a similar experience, any suggestions what shud i do? Can it be something else that can be explained?
