Arguing after it's over?

My cheating ex is still trying to clear his name. He's supposed to get the girl that told me she was sleeping with him to call me and clear things up. She still hasn't. I told him to have a nice life with her and that should be ashamed of himself for deceiving both of us. I told him that he sin't worth my time and that I despise him for lying. I also cut of the cell phone that we had in my name together. He said that I was being spiteful to cut the phone off and as soon as he gets her to set the record straight - to never call him again. I feel like crap even though I know he's a dog.
