Do you create more discharge than when you were younger because you p through puberty & grow up?

I figure it is because you have more hormones being secreted in your body as you age and that your organs become larger and heavier, therefore causing some stress on the l area, but why is it that when you grow you create more discharge when you don't mean to? It's as if you have to always wear a liner everyday to keep your underwear from getting dirty.
