You have completely missed the point of the Lenski experiment. the whole point was to prove that Evolution does occur, by creating a brand new organism, by making the bacteria change from consuming normal sugar based food to using citrate as its only food source, and this is how evolution works. It is small steps, essential alterations upon the genome based upon changes within the environment as this experiment proved. You claim evolution does not exist despite proof in bactria, viruses, and all Eukaryotic species. To deny that Evolution even occurs is discrediting scientific fields a that have ever lived by ignoring and misquoting evolutionary biology you are at a stroke dismissing sciences as diverse as geology, comparative anatomy, comparative embryology, organic chemistry, taxonomy and pretty much any science that is concerned with the natural world. You claim that we place faith in science, but let me tell you there is no faith in science. either a hypothesis is proven and accepted after constant scrutiny by the scientific field, or if it does not work, the whole idea has to either changed, or is junked, its that simple. science works upon reason, and observation, unlike the bible which comes up with ludicrous ideas and umptions, that are untenable and unprovable, and at worst totally laughable. How can we take seriously writings that claim that the earth is flat (Dan 4:10, Is 11:12, Luke 4:5, Matt 4:8, and Rev 3:11) that all animals where vegetarians from tigers to tapeworms, sharks to vampire bats (Gen 1:30) that hares chew the cud (Lev 11:5,6, Duet 14:7-8) that bats are birds (Lev 11:13,19, Duet 14:11-8) Insects have 4 legs (Lev 11:23) The earth does not move, therefore the sun revolves around the earth (1 Chron 16:30, Job 9:11, 38:4-6, Ps 19:4-6) the moon produces its own light (Isiah 13:10), god produces frost (Job 37:10) that we can never learn anything from nature, and that science is impossible (Ecc3:11) that there where flying snakes (Is 30:6) Epilepsy is caused by devils (Lu 9:39) and this a few random "scientific" inaccuracies, but i can quote more if you'd like!!! now how about you question and probe your bible that speaks of atrices, and flat earths. Basically until your bible can be proven to be right (which by this awesome failure of logic and obvious science is not going to happen) then you can claim that evolution is flimsy. Prove scientifically that the bible is right, and Evolution does not occur and i will PERSONALLY recommend you for a nobel peace prize.
