Found a razor blade in new bag of flour!!!! Would there be a claim for negligence or anything?

There were no injuries, but I almost fed the cornbread I was making to my four children and four elderly I was entertaining. It couldnt have been in the cornmeal, as I had sifted thru it, and impossible it could have been from the salt shaker or eggs. I dipped the flour from the bag with a measuring cup. I contacted the company, and after endangering my children like this, they offered me a coupon & want to come pick up the evidence. What should I do?
