Good book for teenaged girl?

I'm desperate for a good book I can get into. I'm 14 and I have a wide range of genres I love, from historical fiction, fantasy, clics- anything but sci-fi. I would prefer a book that's a bit challenging, but doesn't feel like homework. I like Ann Rinaldi, Jane Austen, and Melody Carlson. I would appreciate anything you recommend. Thanks!
