Help! My Computer is really slow after power went out.?

Okay so my dad was trying to show my sister what to do if there comes an emergency where we need to turn off the electricity. So he went in the garage and went to this power box thingy in the wall and was trying to show her....He accidentally turned of all the power though. Ever since then my Windows 7 partition runs real slow on start up and running applications. I checked to see if anything was fried and no. However on my Fedora 13(linux OS) partition everything is fine. I searched for viruses with COMODO and avast!. I ran smart defrag and still nothing. Oh yeah also I do not know if this could be the cause but I do sometimes get impatient for something and just turn off my computer by pressing the power on for 4 seconds....Also it is a windows7 64 bit ultimate and it is a custom built Computer.
