I don't refer to my stepson as stepson. I always say hes my son but now that Im going to be a mother to to a child Im bearing within me I see a difference like it or not its true. I would be false if I didn't acknowledge that. I stepped into this child's life at 10. I was single with no children of my own. My child has behavioral problems. I sit to do homework. I have improved schoolwork & all the teachers see a marked improvement since I entered his life. I cook, clean, shop, & care for him, his father, & my mother-in-law. Hes a difficult child. He lies constantly & has done very sneaky things that are very inappropriate for his age.No I do not pretend to put a crib in his room.How ridiculous would that be! I have a right to think of the new baby that is coming along and allot the same opportunities.No matter what people say there is a difference. Parenting is hard & thankless job at times but steparenting is even harder. It is having all the responsibilities with none of the rights
