Where/Why does the Devil/Satan come into Wiccan/Druid/Pagan accusations......?

The Devil/Satan was added to the Christian Religion after Christ was long gone. It was done as a form of scape goat in order to keep the congregations from straying and to gain money for the fledgling religious organization. During those times healing, teaching and the like were relegated to the monks. Any woman who was a healer was considered a witch, and so in league with satan. Check out the history of the church around the feudal era and the spanish inquisition, the Salem witch trials etc.
