I have no problem with it's driver, he remains steady, calm and consistent like the burning flame of a candle. That's the kind of quality I want in my reliable chauffeur on a rough road. What a contrast with the previous reckless driver! A car with a 20% approved rating is useless, it's a total junk. With this dragging junk car the night will catch us all on the middle of the road: two treasury draining wars, high unemployment not seen in decades, terrorism, a burden of $1.8 trillion dlrs. deficit...The approaching night looks very scary. Those of us who are yelling impatiently: are we there yet? are we there yet? ought to understand that unless Congress improves it's performance we are doomed to a long and exhausting journey. The frustration, anguish and anxiety are the result of seeing approaching behind us this frighting tornado and this junk car doesn't move. The driver can just press the pedal, but with this scrap of metal we wouldn't go far. Wouldn't it be great if we just take another brand new vehicle and continue our trip? Since we can not dot that, our only option is to overhaul what we have. But we should be very careful and replace just those parts that are causing our frustration, otherwise we'll end up with a worst headache. Muay Thai training in Thailand recommendations?

Making plans to spend a month training in Thailand when I finish college this year, and would like some recommendations. The only gym I have looked into was Horizan in Koh Panghan. I had gall stones a long time ago and did not want an operation so I read everything I could about them. I came across several articles about using olive oil and vinegar (or lemon juice) to clean out your gallbladder. The premise is that what causes stones is cholesterol and calcium. The olive oil breaks up the cholesterol, which is a fat. The vinegar dissolves the calcium. I tried this and it worked!! I slugged a tablespoon of each, mixed together a couple times a day. Not the best experience but worth it. Since then I watch my cholesterol (no red meat) and eat salads at least once or twice a week with oil and vinegar dressing. Much nicer that slugging the mixture. This is worth a try.

"legal" faux cocaine. What is this called?

A good friend of mine told me the other day about some new legal "drug" he's been taking that imitates cocaine. Some sort of plant food or something to do with making plants grow (that's what it's technically sold as), but I didn't catch the name. A few months back, he told me about this legal marijuana like substance called spice that is technically incense he was smoking. After I did a little research into it, I found out it was pretty dangerous. It took a little convincing, but he eventually stopped smoking that crap, and now he's moved on to snorting plant food to get high. Spare me the speech about not ociating with him anymore, he's been my good friend since childhood, and I hate to see him destroy himself like this. He went through rehab a year ago for coke addiction, and he stopped doing illegal drugs because his rehab drilled it into him how dangerous they were. Unfortunately, he umes these imitation drugs are safe because they are legal (even though smoking/snorting them are not their intended uses). I tried to explain to him that just because it's legal, it's not necessarily safe to ingest. I tried comparing that rat poison is legal, but you wouldn't take that. However, he said if I could show him it was bad, he'd stop. If anyone knows what this is called, I'd appreciate it so I can once again research it and convince him it's no good to ingest.

I've cleaned the fan and the heatsink. As I type this there is not a single spec of dust inside my laptop. I always use a cover when it is not in use. Waking Up In Hip Agony?

A few weeks ago I woke up feeling like someone had pulled my femur from the hip-socket. I cried in agony; staying still wouldn't fix it, moving about made it worse. Today I woke up and it happened in my right hip, and the pain lasted for twenty minutes. I held down my will to throw up with the pain, and walking up or down stairs was impossible. So I was trapped on my bed until I mustered the strength to fight it. The pain fades after twenty minutes like I have said, but it is near impossible to walk properly for an hour. After a few hours, there's nothing but a slight twinge. Has anyone experienced this, and what it could possible be? I'm afriad to sleep tonight in case it comes back with a vengeance, but it has only been the second time on two weeks. I have been trying to sleep on my back to prevent the problem recurring. I am not an athlete, and I have not done strenuous repetitive exercise in my life to cause the the problem.

What is Biochemistry??

I would suggest seriously considering another major if you don't know what it is. Biochem is very intense, and most people do not do very well in the courses. You would probably be better off doing a chemistry or biology degree. I'm a pre-med with a good GPA and am scared to take biochem. For the OAT biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry cles will be required. You may also have to take physics cles. You can always change your major once you get an idea of what the cles are like, and each school is a little different. Good luck and hope this helps a little.

My girlfriend has started texting another guy?

My girlfriend of almost a year has started texting this other guy. I've never known her to texting him before but in the last 3 weeks she is texting him all the time while i'm with her. I found (non-flees) on my dog...?

Just recently I found lots of bugs on my Rat Terrier. I know what flees look like and I know that these aren't them. They are small kind of long and a bit flat. I can pick them off of her as their not to hard to catch. There have probably been 25 different individual bugs on her. Her fur is only about an inch long in the longest places and they burrow into it, they do seem to be making her itchy and when they have a chance climb on me which makes me itchy. Psychogenic seizures and getting help?

we live in hawaii (big island) and my wife is bi-polar. we have 3 psychiatrists in the area that takes our insurance. Three weeks ago my wife started to have seizures. Last week, we went to Honolulu for testing and it was determined that they were psychogenic. The internal medicine Dr. initially started she was "faking" them. Then once it determined they were psychogenic, the released her with NO TREATMENT. We asked that she be placed in the psyche ward because she is manic and have dozens of seizures a day. They gave no medicines or advice. Just told us to see our family Dr. and for her to see her psychiatrist that sees her once every 4 months and even in emergencies isn't available. We are so stressed out trying to get her help. Any suggestions?

A few months back i was diagnosed with having stenosis of the neck.I am currently in PT three times per week,doing traction and excersises to strenghth neck,also been getting nerve blocks every month and a half.C-5 and c-6 are pintched,however thinking other nerves on right side being effected,as they too are starting to get pain running down the arm and hand along with numbness.Is there a cure for this,or is this part of the degenerative process?How long will it take before it effects me to the point of not being able to do normal tasks i do everyday?

Help! My Computer is really slow after power went out.?

Okay so my dad was trying to show my sister what to do if there comes an emergency where we need to turn off the electricity. So he went in the garage and went to this power box thingy in the wall and was trying to show her....He accidentally turned of all the power though. Ever since then my Windows 7 partition runs real slow on start up and running applications. I checked to see if anything was fried and no. However on my Fedora 13(linux OS) partition everything is fine. I searched for viruses with COMODO and avast!. I ran smart defrag and still nothing. Oh yeah also I do not know if this could be the cause but I do sometimes get impatient for something and just turn off my computer by pressing the power on for 4 seconds....Also it is a windows7 64 bit ultimate and it is a custom built Computer.

Becoming a doctor or a surgeon is an honorable goal, yes if you think you did bad then a community college will be majorly helpful. It'll give u a chance to really prove yourself. make sure to try verrryyy hard though. once u finish your 2 years try to have like above 3.5 GPA. Having good grades is very important especially if your going to become a doctor. Yes so that way you can get the feel of Bio, Chem, Physics, and Calculus at a cheaper price Contrary to most advice, my advice is to NOT consider a community college unless you really have no choice. Try as much as possible to get into a 4-year college, a state college if your grades are not satisfactory. You can then strive to achieve and maintain a good GPA (3.5 and above is highly desirable for a state college pre-med student) during your 4 years in college. Choose a 4-year state college which has a pre-med committee. You'll need the committee's recommendation when you apply for medical schools and you need to complete the pre-med curriculum.

My cheating ex is still trying to clear his name. He's supposed to get the girl that told me she was sleeping with him to call me and clear things up. She still hasn't. Timid puppy.... good or bad?

I am considering taking one of my friend's puppies - however, the only one left (a female) is also the smallest and most timid of the litter. She is fine when handled - she shivers, but they all do at this stage (five weeks old). However she doesn't make noises or lick me, unlike her brothers and sisters, and is extremely reluctant to come out of her kennel into the pen, again, unlike the other pups. I have no problems with her being small, or with her being quiet. However I have heard some things about timid dogs that are putting me off a little eg that they are so anxious when left alone they tend to be more destructive than other dogs, and that fear of other dogs & humans can turn into aggression as they mature. Does anyone have any experience of timid dogs, good or bad? Has anyone chosen the most timid puppy, or the 'runt', and if so how did it turn out? thank you!

Yes!!! all grocery stores order their flowers from a warehouse where they are also able to order premade arrangements for their own display case. if you talk to you grocery store florist, they should have a catalog of arrangements and prices that can be ordered. usually they come in boxes of 5, and run for around $30 each. your local florist can make sure they are delivered to the grocery store (for you to pick up) the day of the wedding or the day before. its a great way to get all of your centerpieces at a really cheap price (i paid $200 each for my wedding). Also, you can either buy premade bouquets for your ceremony bouquets...or the florist can put something together for you. if it is from a grocery store, the bouquets (embled with ribbon) shouldn't cost you more than $40 each (i paid $90 each for mine) and boutineres should be around $15. I'd go talk to your local grocery store florist as soon as possible. They will appreciate as much notice and planning as possible!

I've written one novel, rewritten it, and started two others. My first novel is part of a series that covers individual patients in a psychiatric hospital, and how they came to end up there. Since I went to college for psychology (grad and undergrad) I am hoping it lends credibility to my writing. The first novel illustrates a man that suffers a brief psychotic episode losing everything he had in a 24 hour period-he even suffers from hallucinations, sharing dialog with a seagull whom he believes is following him. The second novel is about Claire, another resident of the hospital, whom bears a terrifying resemblance to Susan Smith (the american woman who drown her children in a lake then said she was car jacked.) Well, that's what I'm up to. I feel like I have 100 more stories inside and write everyday. I just need a foot in the door with an agent. I have the writers market and am working on a query letter - how do I copyright this as well? Thanks for any advice out there!

Seal Beach NWS. No weird smells, not even especially heavy traffic. That area ( Seal Beach, Bolsa Chica ) is one of the quieter parts of Orange County because of the Wildlife refuge. There is is the smell of ocean and salt marsh but I don't find that offensive.

Dogs flying internationally in AUGUST. Are there written regulations?

My dog can either come now which is very hard because he has to fly by himself and it's double the cost. Or come back with me in August. We are flying out of Seattle, WA to Seoul, Korea. I would think since he has to ride in the Cargo area and it's climate controlled it would be fine because it's a huge plane. The poor little things in really bad shape, he's severly twisted/ dislocated/ broken his neck....he can thrash it around still but at horrid angles, and it looks like his left leg is broken or sprained to as when i rescued him it was just out behind him. hes 3wks old. Sounds like its time to take a trip to your eye doctor. I have known patients that have worn the same brand of lenses for years or used the same solution and for some unknown reason, became intolerant to them. There are preservatives in CL solution that over time can become an irritant. I know yo also said you are using re-wetting drops, but how often. Minimum you should be using them 6xday. You may also be having some ocular allergies. Even if you normally don't have seasonal allergies or sinus symptoms yo may be having a reaction under your eyelids called Giant pappilary conjunctivitis that can make contact lens wear almost unbearable (I've had it too). But good news is, all these things can be improved with prescription eye drops from your eye doctor. And please try to take your contacts out a few times a week, and give your eyes a break. I have the Ambitons and Late Night expansions. It there a way to see how many hours I've played? Also, once I installed Late Night it's been slightly buggy. Time will freeze when not on pause, I have paparazzi and celebrity points (which I can't figure out how to track) but there were no new buildings added. I haven't begun a new game since the last expansion, but I plan to in a few days.

As of today, A Clockwork Orange should still be rated "NC-17" (which is today's version of the "X" rating). I don't know why it's rated R. In my experience, usually if a movie is uncut, it will say so on the DVD case...

I decided to make a flapper snow-woman, so I used a feathered hairpiece, tons of twigs in the form of a dress, a blueberry for a small freckle, tomato slice for the mouth, a feathered boa around the neck, and for the "pearl" necklace, I used popcorn stung on yarn. It was my daughter's idea and turned out really cute! Hope you get some snow soon to make your own!

Figure skating question! May sound stupid....?

Here's one thing that always helped me: I would pick something straight ahead to focus on as I took off. It helped me go straight up and get the full rotation. Double axels are very difficult, so don't give up. Some of the best skaters I know took over two years to really land their double axels well.

I am doing a project to making a HACCP (Hazardous ysis Critical Control Point) flowchart. My recipe must have 5 potentially hazardous ingredients. I chose Fried Fish Taco as my recipe. Majority of the recipes I see are quite similar with minor tweaks to them. So far I am able to find 4 items that are ptf in the recipe: Shredded cabbage, Mayo(raw eggs), Fish, and Salsa( chopped tomatoes). I need some help finding one more ptf that I might have missed or could add that is ptf related.
